This after-school class for students in Gr. 1 & 2 develops numeracy through improvisation and drama games. Developed with the Gr. 1 & 2 Ontario Curriculum learning goals in mind, students will have fun navigating a series of stories that require inventive and creative problem-solving. Students will develop their confidence in math skills and concepts such as coding, mapping, orientations, and grids. It will include a brief end-of-class report on the student’s achievements and next steps for development. (60 minutes)
