Lauren Wolanski (she/her) is an actor, writer, theatre educator and coach. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s joint program with Sheridan College, where she received an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Drama Studies, and a diploma in Acting. She is currently pursuing her professional coaching accreditation through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at Toronto’s ADLER Graduate Professional School. Lauren began her career as an arts educator directing youth musical theatre productions at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. Upon graduating from university, she became the Program Director at Electric Moon Theatre Company where she designed arts education programming from the ground up, and led workshops and classes in schools throughout the GTA. Lauren has loved being a teaching artist at Young People’s Theatre for the past three years! Through her instruction, Lauren strives to build her students’ confidence, creativity and self-expression. Lauren’s notable theatre credits include “Anna” in Vitals (nominated for Best Solo Performance by My Entertainment World), and the Queen of Hearts in the Guild Festival Theatre’s production of Alice in Wonderland.
