Subsidies and Funding

Arts Impact

Arts Impact is designed for students to experience a YPT performance with related workshops at a highly subsidized rate. Arts Impact packages are offered to specific schools that are selected in consultation with the Arts Departments at the TDSB and TCDSB.

During the 2020.21 season, Arts Impact will be offered virtually. Each Arts Impact package will include an online storytelling performance or play reading, as well as two workshops, which will be offered as online and interactive. The pre-performance and post-performance workshops will guide students through a series of drama exercises to more deeply engage and explore the themes in the storytelling event or play reading they experienced. Workshops will be coordinated through Google Meet, and vary between 30-60 minutes in length depending on the grade level of the students. Teachers can book one package for one classroom.
