Mari MacDonald

Mari (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and educator based out of Toronto. Fueled by a passion for performing, Mari attended Randolph College for the Performing Arts and obtained a master’s degree in Musical Theatre Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. There, she co-wrote and produced the new musical entitled X:1969 The Musical, which premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022. Mari began her teaching journey in her hometown of Georgetown, ON with Ensemble Kids! and has since worked with many students, honing their craft as artists. Mari is passionate about sharing her love for the performing arts with young artists and is thrilled to continue this work at YPT. Mari is an avid Office quoter, big time napper, and irreparable chocoholic.
