Rahaf Fasheh
Rahaf Fasheh (she/her) is a passionate stage director and educator, who places integrity, community, and play at the core of her work. She holds a BSA from U of T specializing in Theatre. Her training includes Nightwood Theatre Innovators Program (2022), Factory Theatre’s Training Enhancement Program for Directing (2023), and Artistic Interning at Theatre Gargantua (2023). Her directorial debut saw a sold-out two-week independent run at Theatre Passe Murraille (2019), and she since has continued on to direct a digital-theatre production as part of Paprika Festival’s Directors Lab (2021), a couple of staged readings with Pleiades Theatre, as well as a kids show with Shakespeare in Action (2022). As an educator, Rahaf teaches improvisation, ensemble work, text analysis, and devised theatre to all ages from six years old to adults at Young People’s Theatre, Tarragon Theatre, Stage Coach, and with the City of Mississauga. She finds fulfilment in witnessing the amount of growth and confidence that theatre offers to all her students.
