Skylar Heldt Large

Skylar is a multidisciplinary creative and arts educator with a degree in Creative Industries, focusing on film and communications. She attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts, specializing in musical theatre, which deepened her love for performance. Her teaching journey began in Spain, where she worked as a Show Trainer at a resort, leading children in productions of The Lion King and Peter Pan. There, she also enjoyed incorporating games, music, and storytelling to engage kids on their holiday. With that, Skylar loves salsa dancing, movies, and reading dense books like Calvin and Hobbes. Skylar is overall excited to continue empowering young learners in the classroom, and helping them discover the fun of storytelling within theatre collaboration.
