Post-Secondary Placements
In recognition of the importance of fieldwork experiences, YPT is proud to continue to offer professional placements throughout the year for post-secondary students. Field placements, job shadows, and practicums are available to post-secondary students interested in working with YPT in areas such as education, production, or development (fundraising). Students are provided with valuable insight and mentorship in their area of interest as they work closely with YPT staff. Such opportunities can be provided throughout the year for students in programs such as theatre, education, arts management, production, or community development. Interviews will be conducted to determine the suitability of the candidate. All applications are assessed on an individual basis, with departmental capacities and candidate experience taken into consideration.

“This placement has helped me to feel hopeful, refreshed and inspired! I very quickly realized that I can use my education how I want to and follow my passions and interests.”
