Recommended for Ages 11+ | Gr. 6+
Run time: approx. 70 minutes
Description
Unscripted, unrehearsed
– and unbelievably fun!
Unwritten: The Improv Show is pure in-the-moment improvisation. With a guided and thoughtful approach, three of Canada’s finest improv artists — Tim Blair, Lisa Merchant and Paloma Nuñez — demonstrate the art of play, the power of “yes”, and losing the fear of failure. It’s a hilarious volley of ideas and spontaneous exchanges both exhilarating – and unexpected!
Tim Blair is a comedian and founding member of CBC’s award-winning comedy sketch show, TallBoyz, which he created with Bruce McCulloch (Kids in the Hall). Joining Blair is Lisa Merchant — a highly sought-after improvisation performer and instructor who has received four Canadian Comedy Awards (three of which were for Best Female Improvisor) — and seasoned comedian Paloma Nuñez, who has performed, written and directed at Toronto’s famous Second City.
