Yolanda Mercy

Yolanda Mercy is a BAFTA nominated British Nigerian writer and internationally experienced facilitator. Alongside her creative practice, she brings over 15 years of experience designing and leading high-calibre workshops internationally across the UK, Thailand, Australia, Nigeria, and Canada.

Yolanda uses drama, scriptwriting, and storytelling to support communication, confidence, and creative expression across a wide range of participants, including young people and professionals. She has delivered over 1,000 workshops internationally, with clients and collaborators including the British Council, Soho Theatre, National Youth Theatre, NYU, and ATYP. Yolanda holds a PGCert in Applied Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and is passionate about creating spaces where people feel safe, confident, and able to express themselves. Her workshops are known for being engaging, empowering, and practical, supporting participants to build skills and confidence that extend beyond the room.

As a writer and performer, her award winning work includes Failure Project (UK and international tour), Quarter Life Crisis (UK and international tour), Queenie (Channel 4/Disney+), and BBW (Channel 4).
