Drama Time Program – Syme Woolner Neighbourhood & Family Centre
An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Wednesday, repeating until May 17, 2017
Drama Time
YPT provides a weekly Drama Time program for infants, toddlers and their caregivers at The Syme Woolner Neighbourhood & Family Centre in York/Weston. The weekly, hour-long programs explore a particular theme through reading, dramatization, song and craft making. The majority of the participants, both caregivers and children, are non-English speakers.
For most programs, YPT receives assistance from our partner organization to provide translation to the participants. The program seeks to enhance and integrate learning and literacy among young children by enabling the use of creativity, emotional expression and sensory stimulation. The programs run from October to May.
