Session #1
Cultural Gym: Building Story Through Improv with Herbie Barnes
Cultural Gym is an opportunity for both children and adults to exercise their creative muscles. Come challenge yourself in new ways and be part of an artistic community!
These fun, fast-paced sessions will use ensemble-based exercises focusing on the creation and development of new characters and original stories.

Wed. Oct. 12: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Wed. Oct. 19: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Wed. Oct. 26: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Participants
This intergenerational program is open to children, youth and adults. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a participating adult. We also welcome groups from community organizations.
Registration
Cultural Gym sessions are PWYC (Pay What You Can) with a recommended donation of $2 per session. Space is limited. Pre-registration is recommended. Groups must register in advance. To register please contact Amber Ebert, School & Community Programs Manager at aebert@youngpeoplestheatre.org by 12:00 Noon on the date you would like to attend.
This is a program of The Ada Slaight Education Centre at YPT, established through a generous donation from The Slaight Family Foundation.
