SHSM Arts & Culture Industry Workshop

Spend the day with industry professionals at Young People’s Theatre!

The day will start with YPT’s production of The Wizard of Oz, followed by a Tools of the Trade post-show Q&A session that deals specifically with the technical elements of the show. Students will then participate in a behind-the-scenes tour. Led by YPT staff members, this tour will look at what it takes to mount a production and will include a history of the building and the company itself. It will include visits to our Props, Wardrobe and Scene shops, the lighting and soundbooth, and backstage. This training day will culminate in certification workshops.
