Playwriting Workshop
Grades 9-12
With a focus on playwriting, students will discover and share their own voice and will practically apply what they learn by creating short plays of their own. Through facilitated sessions, small group instruction and collaborative exploration with peers, students will learn and develop their own work. They will employ strategies from the writing process and will use ensemble-based dramatic exercises to develop their own short plays. Students will also reflect on and discuss their learning experiences through online journaling throughout the process.
