Cultural Gym: Building Story Through Improv

March 2, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Building Story Through Improv

Our next session of Cultural Gym: Building Story Through Improv takes place Wednesday, March 2nd. YPT’s Cultural Gym sessions offer an opportunity for both children and adults to exercise their creative muscles. Sessions introduce specific aspects of theatre and performance to help participants develop new drama-based skills. Five different sessions are offered throughout our 2015/16 season, each with a unique focus and led by professional artists. Come challenge yourself in new ways and be part of an artistic community!

Session #3: Building Story Through Improv with Herbie Barnes

Learn the basic techniques of improvisation with YPT Resident Artist Educator, Herbie Barnes. Sessions include ensemble-based exercises focussing on the creation and development of new characters and original stories.
