James and the Giant Peach Post-Show Q&A
Friday, March 3, 2017
10:15AM Performance
Recognizing that the most common assignment given to students in connection with their visit to YPT is a play review, we developed, in collaboration with Jon Kaplan of NOW Magazine, a post-show Q&A specifically about the art of writing reviews. Jon Kaplan also provides a short paragraph in each of our study guides entitled “Tips for Student Reviewers”. In 2015/16, we built on the success of these sessions and engaged a student reviewer, Sayak Sneddon-Ghosal, to facilitate these sessions. Sayak, a Grade 8 student, will continue facilitating the sessions in 2016/17.

This rollicking musical version of the beloved children’s classic returns due to overwhelming demand after a nearly sold-out run in 2014. A wonderfully whimsical journey to warm up the winter months. Look for the giant peach on YPT’s roof!
“… theatre for young audiences as it should be: tasty and entertaining but with something to chew on as well.”
