Stay Connected with YPT

We hope that all of our YPT friends are staying safe and healthy, and encourage you to keep in touch with us as we navigate this time together.

  • TUNING IN TO “RIGHT HERE, WRITE NOW”:
“…we are in for some wonderful theatre right in our homes. Please if you have [a] young person it would be wise to watch with them.”
    OnStage Blog
Through YPT’s new online play festival, 3 playwrights respond to our altered world with short new theatrical works created specifically to be performed online. Learn more.
  • WATCHING “INSIDE WITH IMAGINATION”:
Knowing that you’re likely spending a lot of time at home these days, our Education & Participation team thought they’d share some of their favourite “indoor” drama activities with our video series, “Inside With Imagination”! Click here for fun drama games, sing-alongs and readings for the whole family.
  • SUPPORTING YPT:
This is a particularly difficult time for charities like YPT. Bringing children and their families together is at the core of what we do. We would be so grateful if you would consider supporting YPT with a donation so that we can continue making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and youth. Click here to donate today.
  • CONTACTING BOX OFFICE:
Please note that due to provincial restrictions, our on-site Box Office is closed until further notice.
If you purchased tickets to one of our cancelled productions (JUNGLE BOOKJACK AND THE MAGIC BEAN, CARTOGRAPHY) and have not already spoken with our Box Office, please email us at yptboxoffice@youngpeoplestheatre.org with your selection of one of the following options:
    • We would gratefully accept the value of your ticket(s) as a charitable donation, with a full tax receipt.
    • A full credit for use toward a 2020.21 production or program.
    • A refund for the amount of your ticket purchase.
Please note: If we haven’t received your preference by June 1, we will convert your purchase to a Customer Account Credit. This credit does not expire.
  • YPT’s Drama School is closely monitoring provincial restrictions on social gatherings. We are currently accepting registrations for Summer Drama Camps for Kids (Gr. 1-7) and Youth (Gr. 8-12) scheduled to commence this July. We will be making a decision about our capacity to run Summer Drama Camps by May 29. However, we will update you immediately if anything changes. The health and safety of our students is of paramount importance. Please also note, we cannot accept fax registrations at this time. Please use our online portal or email to register.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back to our theatre, Drama School and educational programming. In the meantime, thank you and take care!
