Star in AR!

Young People’s Theatre, Zulu Alpha Kilo and
Meta Canada collaborate to raise awareness of the power of theatre on a child’s life.


The COVID-19 pandemic has had significant impact on the performing arts in this country. YPT has partnered with Zulu Alpha Kilo creative agency and Meta to launch an innovative campaign using augmented reality (AR) technology to celebrate the positive impact theatre has on young people.

The “Star in AR” campaign allows parents to use an interactive augmented reality experience with their children, highlighting the benefits of theatre along the way!

In these one-minute plays, two immersive AR filters put you centre stage as you become an “Alien” who finds your voice and a “Zebra” who discovers new worlds – all through the power of theatre!
