One girl’s cosmic journey.
“A HARD-HITTING POIGNANT TALE. Young People’s Theatre once again handles youth issues with care, class, and dignity for the human person.
As a 33-year retired schoolteacher, I would heartily recommend ‘Celestial Bodies’ as a trip for secondary students.”

Stella, a fast-thinking (and even-faster-talking) teenager has barely started high school and she’s already over it. Obviously, the best course of action is to lay low and hope that no one notices that she’s an awkward, anxious space geek. But when that plan goes supernova and explodes, she scrambles to cope with totally normal teen challenges, like bullying, casual binge eating, and… accidentally becoming an ice hockey goalie? From Montreal’s Geordie Theatre, Celestial Bodies is one girl’s cosmic journey toward truly owning the space she occupies.
Please Note: Celestial Bodies depicts scenarios of bullying and body shaming. Some coarse language is used.
