DESCRIPTION:Writers’ Bloc \nGrade 7-12\nDowntown Toronto\nTuesdays from 6PM-8PM\, Fall & Winter \nTheatre for youth by youth! Students learn numerous script-building skills in order to write their own play. The student playwrights will exchange feedback as they workshop drafts of their scripts\, receive dramaturgical input from professional theatre artists on staff\, and interview YPT playwrights from the 2019/20 Season. The program culminates in the opportunity for students to work with a professional director and hear their plays read aloud for an invited audience. \nDownload a copy of the class schedule here.

DESCRIPTION:Baby Drama Time is a new interactive drama\, movement and music class for a caregiver or parent to enjoy with the baby in their life! Expanding on YPT’s hugely successful work with theatre for babies\, each term will explore a particular theme through sensory play\, storytelling\, and song. Meet new parents and enjoy a relaxed environment to spend time with your babies — and have fun introducing the building blocks of storytelling and interactive play to your baby! \nBaby Drama Time is held at YPT on Tuesday mornings from 11:30AM — 12:15PM and is suitable for babies aged 4-18 months.
