Christopher Duthie

Christopher Duthie is a playwright, actor, educator and theatre creator. His plays and creations include A Dinner Party (Bad Knaps Theatre Collective; Gwen Pharis Ringwood Award for Drama Shortlist); Of Fighting Age with Col Cseke and David van Belle(High Performance Rodeo/Verb Theatre/Glenbow Museum)for Verb Theatre, Glenbow Museum, and the 2014 High Performance Rodeo; and n00b (Y-Stage Vertigo Theatre) which toured to YPT in 2014.

He has been acting professionally in theatre for more than a decade in productions with One Yellow Rabbit, Ghost River Theatre,Theatre Calgary, Vertigo Theatre, Lunchbox Theatre, Quest Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects and others. He is represented by Details Talent for voice over and film/tv. 

He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph and a BFA in Drama from the University of Calgary. He lives in Calgary with his wife Alexandra and their cat daughter, Isabelle.

Christopher is thrilled to be continuing the life of Sensory Box with the support of YPT where he has performed a number of times, worked as a Resident Artist Educator and seen so much exciting work for young people.
