Who is Young People's Theatre? We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization. Our mission is to offer professional, affordably priced live theater to Greater Waterbury families. We offer three shows a season, usually in January, February, and March. We are proud to say we have been doing this for over 50 seasons! | ||||||||||||
| How can my child audition for a part? | ||||||||||||
| We do NOT have any acting parts for young children. We offer young children the opportunity to experience and enjoy professional actors who perform shows appropriate for children. | ||||||||||||
| Must I buy a ticket for my baby? | ||||||||||||
| By order of the Fire Marshall, every child over the age of 24 months is required to purchase a ticket. |

| Are the shows handicap accessible? | ||||||||||||
| We are happy to accomodate everyone who would like to attend our shows. Please send us a note at least a week before the show, indicating what your needs are. If this link does not work, simply paste the email address sales@youngpeoplestheatre.org into your email application. |

| Do you give discounts to groups? | ||||||||||||
| We encourage scout troops and birthday parties to attend. For groups of 10 or more, the price is $6.00 per ticket for one show. |

| Why do you need my e-mail Address? | ||||||||||||
If you give us your email address, we'll keep you up-to-date on our new show schedules and weather cancellations. Your name will not be given to any other groups. | ||||||||||||
| Do you cancel for inclement weather? | ||||||||||||
| If the actors can travel to Kennedy High School, then we are responsible to hold the show. However, if Kennedy High School is closed, we will try to re-schedule the show to a later date. Please watch this website for latest cancellation information. |

| Can I get a refund if the show is cancelled or if my family cannot attend? | ||||||||||||
| All sales are final. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to offer refunds. | ||||||||||||

How Can You Help? Tell your friends about us. We have a limited budget for advertising and your recommendations really help! Volunteer to help distribute flyers. We are committed to offering theater to as many families in the Greater Waterbury area as we can. We do this, in a large part, by passing out flyers in all the area schools to children in grades Pre-K through 4th. Presently, we distribute to Waterbury, Watertown, Bethlehem, Woodbury, Middlebury, Southbury, Oxford, Beacon Falls, Prospect, Naugatuck and Cheshire.
