How did the elephant get his long nose? How did the leopard get his spots? How did the camel get his hump? How did the rhinocerous get his thick skin? In Theatreworks/ USA's new musical inspired by Rudyard Kipling's Just So Stories, a powerful Djinn and a very tiny but smart 'Stute fish weave together delightful, informative, yet nonsensical tales that explain how things came to be. In the world of Just So Stories, the universe does not exactly make sense and the reasons things are the way they are may defy logic, but curiosity and the joy of discovery rule the day.

Theatreworks/USA's production of Charlotte's Web, a play by Joseph Robinette, is based on E.B. White's loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a little gray spider named Charlotte. Wilbur has a problem and Charlotte, a true friend, hits on a plan - she will create a "miracle." This treasured tale, featuring mad cap and endearing farm animals, explores bravery, selfless love, and the true meaning of friendship.
